Charity Concert for Kids with Cancer: Saturday May 3rd at 7 pm hosted at Valois United Church:
Once again this year, Valois United is pleased to be the venue for a concert to raise funds for children's cancer. Tickets are 25$ general admission/$20 students & seniors/free for children under 10., or by purchase online HERE.

Here's the story that started it: "In December 2018, Léandre Gaucher, then 10 years old, was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. He immediately underwent surgery, followed by radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Léandre was treated mainly at the Montreal Children’s Hospital where he received excellent care and a lot of support. He had been playing the violin since the age of 3, and practicing his instrument has given Léandre great comfort throughout his treatment.

On May 3rd 2025, Léandre, his brother Audrick and few other young talented musicians will give a classical music concert to raise funds for Sarah’s Fund for Cedars, which is dedicated to support the needs of the Pediatric Hematology –Oncology patients and their families at the Montreal Children’s hospital. Many great prizes will also be drawn at the raffle immediately following the concert."
