Easter Craft: Jesus Lamb of God - Pom Pom lamb

You will need: 1. Yarn of your choice* 2. scissors 3. stiff paper/cardboard/craft foam for head and heart, 4. markers 5. pipe cleaners or mini pom poms for feet 6. glue gun or other craft glue or tape. Glue is better. *Normally lambs are either black or white but you can have fun and use any colour of yarn you have at home. |

1. Start by cutting an 8 inch long piece of yarn of your choice.
2. Slide this piece of yarn between your middle fingers. Make sure you have it there when you wind the rest of the yarn.

3. Now take the rest of of yarn. Wind it around your fingers. The more yarn you use, the fluffier the pom pom. Thicker yarn is better. Smaller hands can spread their fingers wider to make a larger pom pom if desired.

4. Now take the single yarn from the back of your hand and pull it around to the top. Carefully tie it once and then slide the yarn “ball” off of your fingers. Now pull the ends tight and tie a double knot.
5. Using a sharp pair of scissors, carefully cut the loops of yarn, working your way around the entire circle, until all the loops have been cut.
6. Trim, shape then fluff the pom pom into a nice ball shape. This will become the body of the lamb. Put aside for now.

Next you will be making the other parts of the lamb.
7. To make the head, draw a little lamb head shape similar to one in the photo onto cardboard, craft foam or any other thick paper you have a home. Make sure that it is a size that matches your pom pom body.
8. After you have cut out the lamb head shape, draw or glue on (googly) eyes, add smiley mouth and nose or line

9. The feet can be mini pom poms or pipe cleaners (colour of your choice). You can also wrap the pipe cleaners with yarn as well to change their colour. If using pipe cleaners, cut a pipe cleaner in half. Pass each half through the middle of the pom pom through the knot. Bend them a down and fold ends into little feet.
10. Cut out a heart out of paper, craft foam etc. You can also colour the heart as well.

11. Glue or tape the face and heart to the lamb using a glue gun, tacky glue or other strong glue. If you are using glue, be generous!
