Tomb Garden Indoor Potted Plant
Adapt this to any layout you want--it makes a great, fun indoor winter/spring project, and a nice centrepiece at Easter (you will need a few weeks to allow the grass to grow)
ITEMS:
Fill your larger pot with soil, and make sure it can drain properly. Set the small pot on its side at the back of the soil, and add more soil over the pot (to make it look like the small pot is partially buried and under a hill).
Decorate the layout with bits of moss and rocks and sprinkle everywhere with grass seed. Mist the seed to dampen.
Build your crosses either with hot glue or string, and set them in place.
For the next while the seeds need to be misted regularly to get going, and it will take a few weeks for the grass to really grow. You can trim as needed with scissors, and set it outside once it's warm enough!
